Sending you the festival’s greetings!

Hello there! First off, I must wish you all a happy diwali. I was actually planning to make a huge post with write-ups and pictures about Diwali, but I’m not where I used to be. I’ve been travelling, and only now, as I type from my mobile phone, do I realise that blogging while you’re travelling is damn difficult.

Nevertheless, I plan to write a nice travel report when I do go back home. Of course, with pictures I clicked on the way🙃

I’m trying to be a good earth citizen by not bursting crackers this year, but it seems likely that I would go burst a few after persuasions by family. Yet, I’d try to be as sustainable as possible.

I look forward to so many other things today, especially the food🙈. Since this year I’m with my grandparents, I look forward to spend it with them.

what are you planning to do this Diwali?

Let me know in the comments!

Happy Diwali once again!

Not-so-daintily loving you,

Divi.

P.S.- thank you so much for all the love you gave on the last post, but I’d be late in replying to your wishes!

    1. It’s nice that people adopt these customs and traditions even outside of India. The people of the village must be some really inclusive and welcoming people!
Thank you so much Mr. Leighton, I did have a wonderful day!

  1. Being with grandparents at this time is a blessing. U’ll be spoiled with all delightful food in the world!
I can’t resist the temptation to burst crackers either. I have a lot of friends in the 6-7 years age group who love it and I tag along and help them 😉 Do have fun, make up for your carbon footprints later by planting trees, raising a sapling or doing whatever you can. Have fun! (But Ofcourse, consciously, which I KNOW you will).
Wishing you and yours a Diwali filled with goodness, love and light! 🪔🎇💖
PS: Perhaps we can go completely green when we’re older. For now, have a little fun.
My target is, going fully green when I’m no longer a teen. 🙂

    1. Yes! I see my grandparents in a really long time, I’m so thankful I got to meet them.
Haha, I did burst firecrackers, but surprisingly, they did not generate much of smoke, except for sparks that’s it!
That’s a cool idea though, going green after the the teenage. I should try it too!
